Skip to contentChristopher and Humin founded Verdois with the core purpose of ensuring a prosperous future for the children of the present. They saw Verdois as an opportunity to alleviate the prevailing business model in the clothing industry based upon fast fashion. Throughout Christopher and Humin’s careers, they recognised the environmental damage precipitated by this approach.
Therefore, they sought to disrupt this destructive business model by providing a new choice to parents in Ireland, Verdois, a children’s clothing retailer where they could find products that were not only ethically and sustainably produced but were durable. The resilient nature of these high quality products could consequently reduce the production of clothing and thereby further safeguard our planet for the generations of the future.
Christopher is a graduate of DCU and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business school. He co-founded Verdois to facilitate a transition towards sustainability in an industry predominated by fast fashion.
Humin as a graduate of Nanjing Audit University, Curtin University and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, has obtained a profound appreciation of the need for countries globally to transition towards a sustainable future to safeguard the conditions of today for the children of the future.
We espouse trust in our actions by aligning our behaviours with our verbal and written communications. We openly communicate with our stakeholders to ensure transparency in our interactions.
We recognise the critical importance of product quality in ensuring a sustainable future. We further understand the centrality of quality to our customer experience.
We act to preserve the conditions of the world we can experience today for the generations of the future. Preservation constitutes the foremost virtue in the actions of Verdois.
We profoundly appreciate the adverse impacts of fast fashion on people across the globe. We also recognise the potentially destructive effects of preserving the fashion industry’s status quo on future populations.
“We seek to provide a healthy and sustainable future for today’s children. We achieve this by offering high quality ethically sourced products, manufactured with environmentally friendly materials.“
“We wish to transform global attitudes towards clothing, from those where the planet is sacrificed to maintain ever-changing fashion trends, to one where we recognise the critical importance of sustainable fashion to our future.“
